History

The company was established in November 1990 under the name of COLSYS s.r.o., and was geared towards installations of security systems. Since then it has gone through fast and dynamic advancement. From security, weak-current, heavy-current and IT systems supplier it has grown up to the position of general partner of complex technological contracts concerning building facilities in large complete industrial plants. Among the services the company provides, we can name consultancy, current state and customer or investor demand analysis, design, incluging system solution studies, delivery and implementation and last but not least service and maintanance of technologies delivered.

Quality Management Standard

The basic aim of the company is the satisfied customer who gets a product of the best functionality and quality for his money. The essential means of meeting the customer's satisfaction is the improvement of service quality. For the purpose of all this, the company set up the system of Quality Management according to ISO 9002 standard in 1998 and has been fully making use of all resources and procedures contained in the standard since then. In June 2010 the company successfully passed a revision audit and gained EN ISO 9001:2009/ISO 9001:2008 certificate.

Environmental Management Systems

The company of Colsys s.r.o. appreciates its joint liability for the impact on the environment and therefore it declares the aim to carry on its business in order not only to fulfill its vision, intention and expectation in the field of economical effects, but also to run its activities treating the environment considerately. That is why in 2004 the company management decided to establish the environmental policy according to EN ISO 14001 and the company gained the certificate in summer 2005. In June 2008 the company successfully passed a revision audit according to EN ISO 14001:2004 and gained ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005/EN ISO 14001:2004 certificate.

Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

The business character of Colsys s.r.o. demands direct participation of a numerous active part of human resources on the execution of a piece of work. Not only this group, but also other employees, suppliers, outside workers and visitors to the company premises and building sites, where the most of the business is beeing carried on, must be sure that the company does its best for their safety and protection against injury. The company passed the certification process and got the adequate certificate according to OHSAS 18001 in summer 2005. In June 2009 the company successfully passed a revision audit according to OHSAS 18001:2007 and gained ČSN OHSAS 18001:2008/BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certificate.

The National Security Office Verification

The company of Colsys considers the protection of information related to its business very important. The company has been verified by the National Security Office (NBÚ - this abbreviation represents the Czech name of the office) pursuant to section 121 of 412/2005 Official Secrets Protection Act, having approval of "Classified" degree.

The Czech Defence Standard of AQAP

The company has been certified according to the Czech Defence Standard of ČOS 051622 (AQAP 2110) concerning quality control during design, development and production. Therefore the company fulfils one of the most important criteria for The Armed Forces of the Czech Republic and NATO contracts.
