The systems connected to the shared communication backbone use bidirectional real-time data exchange to the IBMS in parallel and independently of the operation of the other subsystems such as HVAC, FAS, ACS, ESS, CCTV, UPS, DA, lighting, footfall, elevators, travelators, escalators, IP telephony, VECAS (voice evacuation and commercial audio system), PAS (parking system), HSRS (heat and smoke removal system), low-voltage, sprinklers, energy measurement (E-Max), Web servers, gas detection, roller blinds, low-voltage switchboard rooms.
