Colsys

The Welcome Center is a space serving as a background and support for foreign teachers and researchers coming to the Czech University of Life Sciences (ČZU). This successful project is a typical example of the broad competences of Colsys.

The project includes the conversion of the former premises of Komerční banka into offices of the Welcome Centre. Colsys was responsible for the architectural and structural design of the entire interior, which consists of new glass partitions, a new acoustic ceiling, designer flooring and equipment.

Another part of the project was the complete installation of high-voltage and low-voltage systems, which included air conditioning, cooling and heating systems, measurement and control, video management (CCTV), intrusion detection system (IDS) and access control system (ACS).

The success of this project is even more significant because it was implemented at a time when many similar projects were suspended or canceled due to the pandemic. Colsys has demonstrated the ability to adapt to challenging conditions and overcome challenges related to the pandemic. This project not only increased the prestige of Colsys, but also provided valuable support to the academic community at ČZU, thereby helping to facilitate the integration of foreign specialists into the local academic environment.
