Václav Havel Airport in Prague serves as an important hub for air transport, connecting the Czech Republic with key destinations around the world. The airport provides a wide range of services for passengers and airlines and regularly undergoes modernization and security updates, as can be seen in the recent renovation project of Terminal 3. This renovation was started in view of the upcoming presidency of the Czech Republic in the Council of the EU.
During this reconstruction, we installed a modern FlexEs fire alarm system with more than 350 detectors. As part of the project, advanced structured R&M cat 6A cabling was implemented, which ensured reliable and high-capacity data transmission. This cabling has been designed to effectively support the demanding data transfers that take place at the airport through a wide range of technologies.
The work was carried out, among other things, in a restricted security area, which required a high level of expertise and compliance with strict security measures. Thanks to the fact that Colsys successfully passes regular audits by the Office for Civil Aviation (UCL), it is designated as a so-called "known supplier". Thanks to the precise planning and professional approach of the Colsys team, the implementation of the project was successfully completed and thus contributes to the modernization and increase of security at Václav Havel Airport.
