Anti-flood measures for Ostrava!

The JSVV modernization project in Ostrava represents a significant success in the field of civil protection, combining innovative technologies and effective project management. The implementation of this project, which included the installation of 88 electronic sirens connected to a unified warning and notification system (JSVV), was exceptional both in its scope and technological advancement. The JSVV transmission system is made up of independent radio transmission infrastructures, divided into two layers. The first layer is unidirectional (POCSAG) and the second layer uses DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) technology according to the ETSI standard. From the point of view of the transmission system, this is the first installation of this kind in the territory of the Czech Republic.

     Despite the challenges of the limited time frame, just 9 months from signing the contract to handing over to the investor, the project was successfully installed, revived and handed over to full use. This installation represents an important step in strengthening the security infrastructure of the city of Ostrava and is an example of Colsys' excellent approach to solving complex challenges in the public sector.
