A unique connection between the hospital staff and the students and teachers of the faculty

The new building of the Faculty of Health Studies at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem is an example of a professional connection between theory and practice. As part of the project, which was completed and handed over at the end of 2022, Colsys participated in the complete installation of low-voltage systems, including audiovisual technology. As part of the project, an auditorium with a capacity of 326 people, two lecture halls, nine classrooms, four seminar rooms and two classrooms intended for the practical teaching simulation center were equipped. For this, a simulation center was also installed in an ambulance.

In terms of technical equipment, hall sound and projection technology, video conferencing systems for hybrid learning, recording and streaming devices, as well as control systems for controlling audio-visual technology and lighting and dimming systems have been implemented in the center. One of the key functions was the installation of projection equipment in the main hall. The so-called Edge blending projection was used. The resulting image is composed of three projections and is projected onto a screen measuring 16 meters by 4 meters. In addition, interactive projectors have been installed, which expand the teaching possibilities.

This unique project brought together hospital staff with students and teachers, and we are proud to have been able to participate in it.
